I know this sounds stupid but I don't understand what a fibro flare is? It seems like my symptoms over the past year have increased in intensity until my diagnosis a month ago. However is a Flare up something that is acute stronger pain? Do I not know what one is because I've yet to get this under control at all?
For me it's just any occasion when my symptoms become pretty much *unbearable*. I always have symptoms, but when it gets to the point that I can't even process thoughts or even muster the strength to speak much then that's what I consider a flare. So not only does the pain intensify, but the cognitive issues and fatigue do as well. I'm also extra sensitive to, well, everything during these flares. Noise, light, touch, etc. Hopefully that helps? Sorry if not 😬
I welcome the preaching!!! Trying to get into a rhythm and schedule in life. My mom is amazing and trying to help me and it's just been a whirlwind
Littlespiritlight I know exactly what you mean that's what my flare ups are like
It's like a match to start a 🔥. But it turn into a wildfire & went out of control. Pain is intense & acute.
It's a simple BANGGGGG! TO UR BODY ALL OF A SUDDEN AFTER A NICE PERIOD OF OK PAIN! U have pain allover all the time but when bad weather,or u fall,or u do hit something w ur body...Especially cold weather causes flares...U just starting worse! And it's not stupid.....Fibromalgia is the hardest to understand than almost anything u can have of all conditions, I think! ♡ Many soft hugs to you!@Jennifer416O hope that easily understandable???
