Thank you. Why don’t doctors know this? It’s so frustrating to go to doctors that still know nothing about fibro.
I am thinking of getting a pet. I've read alot about how some pets can help with the pain and the stress of chronic pain. We have an inside cat who is loving but only ro the kids...lol. does anyone recommend any pets?
I have a Morkie that I swear senses my pain and sits at my feet or on my lap. I love that he is always there to share a snuggle. He is small and friendly so a great pet.
I have a mental affinity for/with animals but find the physical intimacy they need is more than I am comfortable with. I notice on social media that pets are a big part of many peoples lives. Am I alone here in not wanting to deal intimately with a pet? I have farm animals and touch them when necessary but can't imagine snuggling up to one. I cut my lyrica from 200mg to 50mg and started to feel very sick and had stomach pains this went on for a couple of weeks and went away when I put the dose back to 300 but I want to stop them

so true they also make me laugh several times a day which is very important
Does anyone have pet allergies, and if so, how do you handle it? I find that people get very defensive when I can't go to their house because they have dogs or cats. My health is my main concern!
