Feet And Calves Tingling After Walking/Standing For Maybe 2 Hours
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello friends, do any of you experience tingling in your feet and/or calves after walking/standing for more than 1 hour? This isn't a feeling I have in my feet all of the time, but it only occurs after periods of activity on my feet.

Yep the nerve pain. I now have from hips down and from shoulders down. It started 15 plus years ago as pins in my feet and calves and the last couple years got much worse. And then added restless legs to the mix. Gabapentin helps me with it. I'd rather stand than sit. Sitting is harder on me.

Have you tried compression socks for the tingling in the calves and feet?

I have 24/7 tingling in one calf and have for a year now it's never gone away and it's what started my journey 4 years ago and hasn't gone away in 4 years n isn't expected to do so.

Feet are the most abused part of our bodies they tend to never get the attention they deserve. My feet I hate them at night especially, they burn and cramp and cause me hours trying to get them to settle down at night so I can sleep. I also suffer from RLS (restless leg syndrome) which doesn't help either. Standing for lengths of time is double jeopardy as it causes spasms in my back and foot burning. I have been doing a lot of swimming lately with summer here and have found that this does work wonders as it cools my feet and helps me to sleep.
