Hello all! I am new here. I was diagnosed with fibro about 16 years ago now, but right around the start of this new year, it got really bad again.

Six months after I was diagnosed I was sent to a pain management doctor and they put me on Norflex and a crazy dose of naproxen. Less then one week after taking it (against my better judgement) I got tinnitus. Bad. I stopped taking the meds immediately but the tinnitus has never gone away. I know exactly how you feel. It's torture. I think I would take the pain some days too. Hope you get some relief.

Yes. Mine is intermittent, gets worse during a flare, but I had it before I got fibromyalgia.

So sorry to hear you have this problem too!! How frustrating when it is due to meds that we're supposed to help us and instead made things worse! Awful.

Yes, I've been reading about how it can stem from the same pathways in the brain and also from over sensitization of the nervous system.

I wasn't aware that tinnitus could be caused from chronic pain?! 😳 I have had tinnitus for as long as I can remember 🙁 I was diagnosed with fibro about 11 years ago...
