Dry Mouth
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello everybody,
It's been my second day that I feel I a dry coat around my mouth and the tip of my tongue.
Is it one of the fibro symptoms?!

Yes, dry eyes and mouth I've had for 30 years. Now, my teeth are crumbling--baffling my son-in-law, my dentist, even though I brush x 2, and floss my teeth daily. I read that any kind of arthritis--and I have both fibro. and osteoarthritis, can cause tooth loss.

Yep. I have Sjogrens on top of Fibro. My nails are dry and brittle. They have come up with something to rub on teeth and it protects them against decay. I lost too.

Had this as a side effect of medication check your information sheet. I was told to chew gum and use a child's mouthwash to help. It didn't unfortunately and it got to the point even drinking water my mouth would be dry straight away so medication was stopped x
