I am gluten free due to Hashimoto's nut it has really made a difference in my inflammation, pain and brain fog. I have more energy as well. I have considered trying the AIP diet but fear I would starve before figuring out what other sensitivities I may have...might try elimination of one food item at a time.

Lookup antihistamine, and anti-inflammatory diets, also anything that takes a long time to digest like meat. I avoid alcohol, caffeine, dairy, sugar and meat.. anything that makes me bloat and just keep it simple. I don't eat more than 1000 calories a day to give my body time and energy to digest.

I am on a low fodmap diet for the irritable bowel side of Fibro. It's helpped hugely with stomach pain but not with the muscle pain etc.

What special diet?

I'm gluten free (do to celiac) low to no sugar, low to no processed foods, and in general eat plant based. Can't say I've noticed anything different since I've been doing all but the gf going on 20 years now.
