I met a women that took amitriptyline and she was OK with it, it worked well with her. My doctor he was specialist at the time wanted me to try it. But I had heard it can bother your heart and he said it could so at the time I was having trouble with my heart I even went for some tests so I didn't want anything causing me further problems. You can type it in on line and see the side effects, it says dry mouth and drowsiness, dizziness, weight gain, constipation, headaches, blurred vision, but it would depend on the dosage. I never took it, I don't take anything for my fibromyalgia. The women I talked to said it made her drowsy at first and when she was used to it it stopped. I went the route where I @exercised and @exercised and went to the water and did aquafit and eventually swam and my systems improved. I have trouble on rainy days. I learned to cop with it. Believe it or not @exercise helps and especially the water warm water of course. But I heard that amitriptyline was one of the more safer drugs.
