Spine Problems And Neuropathy
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Although fibro is a complex of symptoms, Im sure we all agree that it's much more than 11 out of 18 tender points. How many of you also have scoliosis, bone spurs, forminal narrowing, radiculopathy, etc? Also, has anyone else had a skin biopsy for Small Fiber Neuropathy?

Hi Rhonda, I sincerely appreciate your kind words. I'm starting to question my dx though. I have some pain, but my primary issues are left arm and leg weakness (gradually worsening), fleeting numbness, burning, twitching, and bladder & sexual dysfunction. I will likely need to start the whole array of testing and doc visits again and I dread it. Fibro (or whatever I have) is no fun.

Prayers that you're doing well today 💕

ReeRobinson, life
Is constantly changing and so are the symptoms. At least I laugh at my self and go on with whatever I am doing.

Don't let it get you down. I know easier said than done.

Have a beautiful day!
Hugs
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda, and thanks for taking the time to reply. I too have horrible anxiety and have spent the past 20 years having repeat attacks of panic or depression, because in the back of my mind, there's some awful, underlying problem the doctors haven't caught yet loI. I know it's classic "catastrophic thinking" associated with hypochondria, but this illness (with its many different manifestations) will do that to a person. My left side is always a mess. I sit at a desk 9-10 hours a day which doesn't help. Anyhow, I hope that today finds you in a peaceful place. -Ree

When I first started this path, the dr poked me on the fibro points and he almost got a fist. We both laugh at it now. But when he does the testing now he goes is it a good day or bad day.
You are right about a lot of other things have croped up. The biggest ones to me right now is getting over the stress that causes anxiety attacks and then depression sets in. In realizing I have struggled with anxiety most of my life. Now that I know which vitamins to take. Just means more pills.
I have always had pain and tightness on my upper shouldersand neck and my hips. Just found out about scoliosis.
Don't know if this answers your questions but just hang in there. You will be ok.
