I am on Duloxetine.. it is used for both anxiety and Fibromyalgia. It helps my anxiety but has stopped working for my Fibromyalgia. They just raised the dosage, waiting to see if it will help.

I use Cymbalta (for fibro and depression) and also a very small dose of Valium, if needed, once a day. And, yes, the Valium is a lifesaver. Like before guests comes over. I can't stand to have to play happy and fun.

I take meds for anxiety and depression and it does nothing to ease the fibro.

@A MyFibroTeam Member have you noticed any negative side effects from the cymbalta?

I take Cymbalta also. it really does help. My daughter takes Zoloft for her anxiety. I know it helps her even though she does not like it.
