Vital Red
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone heard of or tried Vital Reds. It is supposed to help with heart health, focus, aches, pain, weight, fatigue, and so much more.

It appears to be a supplement. My doctor always says that it helps to give supplements a chance and not to expect miracles - but then a miracle could happen - depending on where you fall on the bell curve. As with all supplements, they work for some people but not all. My doctor said that if it is affordable and if the research includes journal articles supporting the safety of the supplement to go for it. I do take supplements and I am sure they are helping with energy and helping my body overall - unfortunately, I have not found any to help with the pain. Great question and like my friend Dr. Inocalla says think how bad you would feel if you did no supplements to help your body. So I keep using them - focus is critical and of course heart health - so maybe if you decide to try with your doctor's approval you could let us know how it goes. Loves

I have taken vital reds for times when I get up and don't have energy for the day, but I have to be somewhere or do something. It works for me for more energy - doesn't take pain away. It is best to use daily so I am trying to do this instead of caffeine in the morning.

Yes ma'am. I was feeling much more energy on Vital Reds, Dr. Gundry. So I am gonna order again. It is less than prescription meds. Hugs. Deborah. Fibro Warrior.

I have taken it and the one thing I have found with all supplements is that you need to take them continuously for 6 months. Our bodies didn't get in this condition over night and it takes time to heal. It is worth it to rake it for six months to see a difference. You may see a difference before then but not always and it can be so gradual that you don't realize it until you stop taking it!

From what I understand, hormones can play a big part in how we feel and can also affect weight gain. So I found a clinic that helps men and women w/ hormonal balance. They also take blood work that determines what vitamins you are lacking and if you have any other health issues. They found I had Hashimoto which my other doc never found. I take supplements and my concern too was what was good quality. I find some at my local pharmacy and Vital nutrients on Amazon work well. She also gave me a list of what they carry at the clinic and they are about the same price as Amazon. Do they work? My test results say they do even if I don't feel it. We test everytime I go in every three months, for D3 levels and it is improving. Also, too now that my Rhuem has put me on a prescript to suppress my immune system, I can catch any illness that is going around. I need to make sure I am strong enough to fight off an attack.
