Does Anyone Have Issues W/ Horrible Charlie Horses? & Does Anyone Else Have An Issue With Falling For No Reason, I Seem To Keep Falling.

I more so at night have horrific pain and cramping in my shins and feet and I even get it in my hands. Its like my hands and feet get distorted. I get them in my shins also and its so bad I am crying cause I can't stop them. I also seem to be falling a lot. I have fallen at least 7 times this past year out of no where, just walking. I mean I deal with being dizzy but thats not it...I just fall and do not know why.

There's no blood test for fibro, but blood tests can rule or confirm other things.

For cramps, i warm the muscle up if i can ( external heat if not with movement), stretch it out and then apply magnesium oil liberally to affected area.

Hopefully you'll get some answers and relief real soon.
Hugs x

Yes, I have fallen many times. No fun at all. I have been banged up, bruised. Worst when I hit my head. I do not get charlie horses any more please someone knock on the proverbial wood! No explanation except Fibromyalgia is flare up nerve endings so your muscles may say hey what the heck? I don't know what to do? I need to do what?!??!?! THen our brain can't work fast enough to stop it from happening. Well, just my thoughts..Vitamins B12, magnesium, etc..can help. As you know, good days and bad. Blessings!

Have you been tested for MS?

I use a heating pad--one of the XL ones from @Amazon.com for my legs. I also tip over without any obvious cause. I have gone from running an operating room to being as slow as snail snot with a cane in under two years. I think maybe there are so many screwed up nerves that the inner ear doesn't know what is going on--along with the rest of my head on some days.
