My insurance pays for water therapy, acupuncture and I get a B-12 shot every 3 months. I still struggle even with all of these tools, but it would probably be worse without it.
Yeah, massages are rough. I don't get them anymore.
I haven't had a massage for years. But right after my diagnosis in 2009 I started going to a massage therapist twice a month for two hour massages. She specialized in Fibromyalgia. They weren't relaxing, and quite painful for two hours. She said it took the full two hours just to reach a state of getting the muscles to loosen up a bit. I don't know if I could bare it now. It would be like starting over. I've stayed away from massage since 2011 because it was becoming intolerable. I may try again if for nothing else to help move the lymph through my system.
If you can bear a massage it prob isn't fibro
Great! Thank you!
