Pregnancy?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had fibro, and got pregnant after the diagnosis? Did the fibro make it extra difficult? Does anyone have suggestions as to how to handle complications, or should I just avoid the idea of pregnancy?

I had Fibro for years before I got pregnant. My fibro went into remission while I was pregnant, and didn't come back until I stopped breastfeeding.

You do need to have an understanding partner, though, to raise children while suffering from fibro.

I had had FM and CMP, (Chronic Myofascial Pain), for about 6 years when I got pregnant with my 5th and final child. I found that the CMP got a little worse but the FM all but disappeared. Really, I felt great! I have long since wished that the doctors could figure out what it was and fashion it into a pill!
