Has anyone tried hypnotherapy to try and keep the pain under control ?
My cousin had hypnotherapy for weight loss and to stop smoking, and it appears that it has worked for her, she has lost weight ( which is so annoying as i am struggling to loose gabapentin weight )
My cousin has offered to pay for it , but as a life long sceptic i can't help thinking it is a waste of money
Has anyone any views or experience of hypnotherapy?
Thanks x
I take Alteril (with L-Tryptophan [665 mg] and melatonin) and Genexa for sleep. One is herbal and the other is homeopathic. It took a few weeks for them to work, but now I sleep much better and even dream. Lucky Vitamin has good prices. You get twice the amount of Alteril for the price of smaller box that you would get at local drug store. After years of awakening during the early am, it is a relief to sleep better. If I do wake up, I can go back to sleep. Insomnia is a big part of fibro pain.
I use it on a daily bases to relieve the pain. I use it off of youTube. Hypnosis for pain, and mediation for healing.
I use hypnosis to go to sleep. It helps me relax, my mind quite down and ease the pain by relaxing. Give it a try it may help you.
Might have a look on you tube x
No. I have no insurance. I get financial assistance from UVA. They don't cover the altruistic medicinal practices.
