Well U need to find things u can do sitting ,watch some movies, word search book, cross word puzzles, sudoku , crafts, internet, reading books ( from your local library), talk with friends & family by phone, text, etc.find somethings u enjoy. I do sudoku, watch tv, internet/facebook watching videos of children & animals I laugh everyday that way.,adult coloring can't keep my hands away from that.By that my day goes by quickly. Don't think about being depressed or anxious keep your mind busy so u don't have time to think about it I have it also I just keep busy. Get up every am GET DRESSED.& keep your mind on something.I have accepted fibro & my back pain so I don't worry about it. I hope this will help u a little bit. Keep going forward. God bless HUGS & prayers To u !!!

I had to get a low dose of xanax. I could not live without it. Well. I might live but I'd never leave the house

I personally have a fidget object. Anything to ground you should help. I don't suggest distraction because you think about what you tell yourself not to think about. I don't know your specific brand of anxiety, so it's hard to suggest things. But in general, grounding is my #1 tool for easing anxiety. You could also find an outlet, something you enjoy doing to kind of shift your focus without paying attention to your anxiety. Music also helps me. It's a personal thing, everyone is different

More youtube! Google...youtube anxiety subliminal....some really nice videos crop up with affirmations that help with anxiety. I listen to them in a quiet place. Earphones help..

I have taken up so many hobbies. I now crochet, make my wreaths, macrame and give me time I'll find something else. I hate to get as bored as a was. If one of those don't work, there's always Xanax! LOL
