Has anyone with fibromyalgia been told this disease can spend off into another disease like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis etc?

Was told that it doesn't develope into other's but that its not uncommon for you to have more then one condiiton. I was born with a autoimmune condition, then developed T1 diabetes so what's another one added to the ever growing list

Yes, I have been told that. I don't know if it is true. I do know from reading about these things that FM can be diagnosed when in fact it could be Lupus or Rheuatoid Arthritis. I did read that FM could have caused some of my childhood illness's because they didn't know about it back then. I just keep praying and leaning on God to get me through.

i was diagnosed with arthritis first and when the pain and muscle cramps increased they did further tests and another doctor told me that it was possibly FM too.
