Savella And Diarrhea

I took mt 1st dose of savella around 9pm last night. By 1130 my stomach was rolling by 130 this morning I had diarrhea and it hasnt stopped.
Anyone else experience this?? Does it go away?

Good luck! Unfortunately many times it's trial and error.

When I started it, I was told the biggest side effect was upset stomach. I started on a very low dose and took it at lunch since it kept me awake at night. Check with you doctor about taking it in smaller incrementsand building up. I was on gabapentin and metaxalone for 9 years and this was much better for me.

Yeah i called my dr and he said to cut the dose in half until my body gets used to it. Thanks

Approximately 6% of those taking Savella discontinued due to nausea versus 0.6% for those taking a sugar pill (placebo). You may find taking Savella more tolerable if you take it with a meal.
