This is one of the last I can try and really need to know if it's as effective as the doctor says it will be and I have a terrible time dealing with side effects of medicines in the past, and I am hoping when I increase my dose my body can… read more

I believe that is the generic name for Welbutrin SR. I take 200mg twice daily and have for years. I don't remember having any bad side effects, or any side effects at all for that matter. It is only one of the two meds I'm on for depression, the other antidepressants I take are actually for migraine control and I will be having genetic testing done next week when I'm in town for a different appointment to see what meds I'm actually processing. Hopefully we can pare down my med list a bit by finding out and throwing out the ones that don't get processed. No need to wean off them as they weren't even being used by me.

I've been on wellburtin before. It worked well. I can't handle meds well at all either but I didn't have any problems
