What has helped you deal with the double whammy of chronic mental and physical health problems? Any suggestions on how to redirect your thought patterns? Just curious. I am going through a bit of severe anxiety and depression low point (have had both my entire life) and now I get hit with what could be (probably is) fibromyalgia...yet another chronic problem. So, are there any really helpful coping strategies that anyone has found?
Honestly, therapy, medicine management and grin and bear it. I found out I had fibro and in the same year both my parents died, lost my house and car, my new apartment got broken into twice (everything stolen), no more job of 10 years.... I'm hanging on by a thread. But am making sure to make my therapy appointments. I think I'm in a constant flair due to the stress but I just do the best I can. I cry a lot too.

Wonder why I'm showing up as new member? I'll look into it.
I'm sorry New Member and Butterflies3081. You have a lot on your plates🌺🙏
Thank you, you are right, grass always seems greener on the other side. I miss my parents so much and I loved my job. I've had a lot of mental illness too but it's gotten really bad in the past year. I hope things get better for you. Hang in there and push threw! You seem pretty strong already with everything you've gone through, some days are gonna be better than others, focus on those!
