Lingering Pain
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get lingering pain after they have been injured? It seems like even after an injury heels, the pain never really goes away. I had the nexplanon implant in my arm and it caused a lot of problems including pain. And although I have had it out for over 6 months, it occasionally hurts extremely bad still and feels like it's still there. This happens with every injury I get, even if it's small.
Has anyone else experienced that?

I can still feel my spinal block site when I had my kids. They are 9 and 6. The doctors think I am crazy, but I know my body!

In short, yes! I tore my Achilles heel over two years ago, and on the odd occasion, I will get pain so bad you would think that the injury occurred just at that moment. It is only injuries that have occurred since I have had fibromyalgia though, my old surgery sites don't bother me, yet my hysterectomy scar can ache like the dickens. You are not alone with this. Gentle hugs xx
