I am in the exact same position. I am looking into work from home jobs and dog walking. Good luck on your search
From someone who works from home typing, it is not as rosy as it seems.
That being said I have a herniated disc (tailbone between hips) pushing on my sciatic nerve and nerves leading to both legs, combined with fibro and the lovely fibro fog that comes with it, working from home is hard, can not sit down for too long because legs go numb, burn then in more pain that they were to start with, back hurts, shoulders hurt, neck hurts, finger joints ,wrists, elbows, concentration goes because you are at home and you are in pain, knowing your bed/sofa is right there and you can just lay down, it is isolating and lonely too.
That could just be my own personal interpretation though, everyone is different,
@A MyFibroTeam Member I have looked into that for about 4 years now. I would love to work, however if i did i would probably be calling in sick more than being at work. I always think of working when i feel my best, If i just mention it to my husband he says ok and what if tomorrow you have a flare up of note what do you do. mmm i was beginning to see how this was not going to work for me, that is. we all differ and there are lots of people that work.
soft bunny hugs to all
I understand how you feel. Its hard on your feet and sitting too long also. I tried to go back to work and needed the next couple of days to recover... Im looking for some type of work from home job.
