or perhaps it's, as some people say, a trial or tribulation, so we need to learn whatever the lesson is so it will all go away. Let's see...... what lessons have I learned from this? Hmmmm. I can no longer have faith in the medical system. I've learned that some of the people who were my best friends, weren't really. That some people who weren't my best friends, are. That, as I practice, I'm getting better at not letting some people know when I'm in pain. That if I don't move at all, it feels pretty good, but when I eventually have to move, it hurts like the devil. That I can ignore the people who stare at me with disdain when I use the Walmart electric cart on a particularly bad day. That I may never get used to not having my own income, but I still have to live with it. That as of next week I will have to learn to manage my pain without the narcotics that I've been on for several years because the government says I can't have narcotics unless I have cancer.... I could to on for quite a while. On the other hand, I've learned a lot about acceptance being the key to my serenity, I've learned a lot about myself that I was busy enough to be able to ignore. I've learned to enjoy my own company. I've learned to make greeting cards, clay fairy houses and figurines with polymer clay, jewelry, stitch markers, bird houses, and wooden separators for my cutlery and utensil drawers. I've learned better eating habits. I've made new, real friends. I've learned that real friends are sometimes found on my computer. I don't agree with the "tribulations equal lessons" group because they suggest that if we learn the lesson, the tribulation will go away. I still have the bloody "tribulations" but I have gratitude for the changes that the lessons have brought me.
Well that was quite a rant wasn't it? I guess I needed it. I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

I just moved south and I agree that I still have some bad days... Nothing like up north. I do not have to wrap up like a burrito. I am getting outside everyday. The weather and warmth have changed my life. I was afraid to go out in the winter NOT ANYMORE. I was lucky to have a spouse that believe warm is best

@A MyFibroTeam Member Amazon has footies/slippers with beans or rice that you microwave and they keep your feet warm for a good 45 mins. Mine were called "hot feet" they are reusable. Worth the $20 or so. When my hands were cold, I'd put them on my hands. But now, they make the same thing just for hands.

I agree with all of you! I know that we can be good weather predictors, because we feel all the aches and pains - sometimes before it is announced on radio, TV, or on the internet. I have to do my housework, etc very slowly because of the pain. Sometimes I don't even get it completed until the next time or day! A lot of people that don't suffer with this horrible stuff - just think that I am being lazy. What they do not know is that the pain is so bad - that even lifting more than 2 or 3 pounds is very, very hard to do and takes a lot of energy from you and causes more pain.
I am praying for all of us that a cure is found soon!
Soft hugs are being sent to all of you!

That's easier said than done not everyone CAN keep moving on like you do everybody is different I e spent the majority of past 9 months in my bed had an major op on my foot to correct severe talipes that should have lasted 2 hours n lasted 71/2 hours should have been a 2 day stay in hosp turned into a month my fibro went mad they could not get control of my pain, lots of morphine was their answer that ended up making my body toxic and again I was hospitalised ... the days I feel up to it I get up and do things the rest I HAVE no choice I need my bed !
Don't judge others because they can't do as you do, perhaps you have a milder case I have apparently been suffering this and chronic fatigue for over 30 years ... as in life ... no two people are the same !
Hugs x
