When You Feel A Flare Starting..Feeling Like Fire With Burning...Can It Be Stopped Before It Invades The Whole Body?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

You feel the burning pain start in your hands..Ice was applied at that time. Now the flare is throughout the body. Does anyone know how to stop the flare before it invades the whole body?

The only this I could recommend would be slowing down as soon as u feel it starting. Your ur body a head start so to say. N vitamins if you take them. N this time of year at least in pa the snow will come. Yuck! But vitamins d n c are great along with b- complex.
N try to figure out what u can do that make u feel better during a flare. I know next to nothing. But sit on the couch snuggled watching a movie or in a bath. Anything to help.
Best of luck 💜

Nope-the one thing that has helped me lately is using lavendar essential oils and laying down for a couple of hours . Doesn't stop the flare, but does help some. Rub Essential oils on soles of feet and rub hands together in a circular motion and breathe in scent from hands 3-4 times.Good luck and God bless.

Sugar and caffeine both, crank up my flares and they last longer. Drink plenty of water. I wish I had a better solution.

I wish I had a good answer, sometimes if I just take a non strenuous walk it helps me.
