Has Anyone Else Experienced Painful Finger Tips After Applying Artificial Nails?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone else experienced painful/ rather sensitive finger tips after applying artificial nails. I had a set done and after the pain/sensitivity lasted for more than 4 days I had to have them soaked off.

Hi sorry to hear that!! My daughter owns a beauty salon I and all her customers have been having artificial nails for years with no problem I would go to a proper salon not these Chinese nail bars they literally hammer your nails.

I have had several sets put on in the past 8 months and have had to have them removed due to pain. I've had acrylic and gels and done in different places (low end to high end). I don't think my body can adjust to them anymore. I did have them for many years. I hope you were able to find some that worked for you. I know I do miss mine x

Absolutely I do my own but put it down to rynauds syndrome.

Last time I had a full set done it felt like my nails were being ripped from the nail beds. I had never experienced it before so didn't mention it. Sorry to hear others have problems too, but relieved it's not just me. I put it down to overall sensitivity. X
