Iv had the daith piercing for nearly a year and my headaches/migraines have stopped completely but my fibro is still the same as before.. I don’t take any medication for my fibro as it was making me worse, no harm in trying the daith. What may work for some doesn’t for others..
What is daith piercing????????
I read that DHEA can help lesson pain. Has anyone else tried this and if so is it working? I already take mega doses of Vit D, Vit B, Q10 and Magnesium and also wear a magnetic bracelet! Will try anything other than the usual fibro "meds" at this point.
I finally have a hearing date for June!! Anyone live near Raleigh who has been through the process? How did you fare? I'm using a lawyer from the advocator group.

I don't have a question. I just wanted to post that I was skeptical but bought a magnetic bracelet and wore it all day today for the first time and I swear I have had a very good day pain wise! It can certainly be a placebo effect or that I am just having a good day, but for some reason I feel relatively pain free and very energetic today. More than usual! I will continue to wear it and see if I see a noticeable difference by wearing it over an extended period of time! I am also going to wear it… read more
I've worn one for years. I thought it helped, but I took it off yesterday and forgot to put it back on.. Today it didn't notice any difference, but perhaps it is too old !!!

The radiating pain, twitching and throbbing in my legs keeps me up most nights. I read an article about how magnesium supplements may help this. I already take a multi vitamin with magnesium. Would an extra supplement, spray or oil be beneficial? Just wondering if anyone else has found relief for RL by taking magnesium.

Although my diagnosis of Fibro is fairly new, my symptoms have been going on for many years. I finally feel validated to know that what I have been feeling is REAL! My pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, IBS, insomnia, etc... However, now that I know it is real and I have something that has a name, I feel like I need to do less around the house and take more down time for myself. When I don't clean the house, or make dinner, or have a day off spent on the couch, I feel like my husband thinks I… read more
I have had this for so long that I feel people finally understand, somewhat
I have been prescribed Gabapentim which I tried and did not like how I felt on it and then Pamelor and quit for the same reason after 2 weeks. I am already on Paxil and Wellbutrin for anxiety and depression and do not want to feel further 'out of it' with the Fibro meds. So I just take Aleve or Meloxicam as needed but it honestly only helps a slight bit. I must take Tylenol PM to get any sleep as my restless legs and neck pain keep me up most nights. I fear that being on the Fibro meds will make… read more

I currently take Gabapentin and have for years now. I have to keep increasing the dosage. I still feel like I'm having way more bad days than good days. I know that Lyrica is another option but I've heard it's just a more expensive version of Gabapentin. Has anyone experienced both and can tell me which one you personally felt worked better.
Thank you so much. Any advice would be appreciated.
