Does Anyone Hold Their Breath Before The Onset Of A Flare?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I wake up each day, feeling flu-like (stiff & achey), to some degree. As the day rolls along, I discover which other symptoms may await me in the Fibro mystery bag. I have recently discovered that I hold my breath when other symptoms are coming on, before I may be aware of them. This is mostly upper back pain and an all-over feeling of swelling, beyond the baseline flu feeling. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this, or if it is my own individual pain response.

I think you hold your breath due to stress.. You know you are going to be in pain soon..its kind of a fight or flight response. I do it too
