Contraceptive Injections / The Pill
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ladies, anyone who used hormone changing type birth control I. Each the injection , implant or pill...have you found this has effected your pain and fibromyalgia in general ?

I've recently gone back on the Depot Injection after having a break from it. I don't know if it's coincidence or not but my pain has been more intense since receiving the injection

I also take the depo shot, but I've been on it way b4 fibro, so not sure about that. However, it is causing issue with my hormone levels, which everything is intensified when you have fibro, but without the shot I would have periods and I had terrible awful ball up in the floor craps with periods. So the thought of not taking the shot is worse than the cause, to me.
Sorry I wasn't much help. 💜
