Does Anyone Ever Feel Like Breathing Is A Chore, Or Just Too Tired To Breathe.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

When the exhaustion gets the best of me sometimes I feel like it's tiring just to breathe, like I have to burn energy I don't have to be able to breathe. Does this happen to anyone else. I have a heart rate and O2 level. My heart rate is always over 100 and I noticed when I get the too tired to breathe thing my O2 levels fall a little but not too bad, I get into the mid to lower 90s but it's after feeling the extreme tired for a few hours.

Anxiety? Sometimes when I'm nervous or having a panic attack I have problems catching my breath and heart racing. Sounds like you should see your doctor about it.

Sounds like you are having tachycardia which is a heart over 100. Not sure about your O2. Have you gotten it checked out?

I have Fibromyalgia and Costochondroiditis. I feel the extreme fatigue all the time. I wake up too tired to breathe and I go to bed too tired to breathe. It's an exhausting thing all day long. It started slowly about 3 years ago when I noticed that I was taking deep breaths and sighing more. I also noticed I could hear myself breathing on recordings when I hadn't been able to hear it before. I breathe louder now even when I am at rest and haven't had any exertion. I have a pulse oximeter and my pulse runs about 85 to 100 and my O2 levels are 96 to 98. So I am still getting a good amount of O2. All my muscles are much weaker now. My arms get exhausted doing just about everything, I can't lift things like I used to or open jars. It's hard to go up stairs. I have to use a cane now to get around.

Costochondroiditis and fibromyalgia. Google it. Let me know if this sounds like you.

I did at an er, they worked me up like a heart attack, dismissed the tachycardia as no big deal. And with o2 levels not dangerously low as soon as it was proven to not be a heart attack or blood clot I was given walking papers
