Delayed Pain And Exhaustion
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone ever get pain and exhaustion and wonder why and where it came from? I know its delayed pain cuz i havent done anything strenuous in the past week, but last week i did. Why does it take so long to effect me? Sometimes i don't even know why I'm experiencing the pain I get. I know how fibro feels but sometimes it comes from the things we do.

When I am active going grocery shopping, housework, walking, yoga then I feel good when doing it. I even feel good the following day, however, the following days.....I hurt all over. Like @A MyFibroTeam Member said if we rest we get stiff and hurt - if we work-out or do other activities - we also hurt. Frustrating to say the least. Good question.

While I'm doing leisure activities I'm fine until the next day and if i do something it gets better but as we all know it comes back when we relax. Heavy active active work hurts about a week later all the time.

I generally find that if I overdo it today I pay for it tomorrow I went out with my daughter and her family on Tuesday this week it involved a lot of walking I was very sore by the time we were coming home and suffered the next day sore from my ankles to the top of my head but I am so frustrated by not being able to go out with them and do normal things nothing out of the ordinary but it kills me 😩 soft hugs x

It may be more than just fibro. You should have your doctor order some lab work. Make sure they check your thyroid levels also.

When I overdo things I pay for it that night and the next day 💜
