Has Anyone Been Prescribed Low Dose Naltrexone For Their Pain?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm wondering because I want to approach my doctor about trying it. Nothing else had helped and I've tried almost all fibro drugs out there. And not one doctor will prescribe opioids for my pain. Other than my Tylenol 3 or Norco very seldomly. Also if you got this, how did you get your doctor to do it and where do you get it from? I've read that you need to go to a compounding pharmacy but I'm not too sure.

Yes I already use that, but it's not really helping with my pain. It helps with my muscle spasticicty and relaxation. And Naltrexone is not an opiate either, that's why I want to see if my doctor will let me try it. According to the research and a study that has been done by Stanford University, it was shown to reduce the pain level in Fibromyalgia patients by up to 20%. And all with very little side effects, none being serious.

Believe it your not, pot works best for me. Opioids are HIGHLY ADDICTIVE and cause constipation. That's why they won't prescribe them. People have died from them.
I'm going to see if I can get a green card for my smoke. It's always better than opioids.
