Has Anyone Experienced Pain In The Lower Left Back Flank That Also Spreads To The Front Side Under The Rib Cage?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

The spasm starts at the low back and travels upward and around to the front under the rib cage.

Hi MsMaxwell, it sounds slightly different but the pain definitely sounds the same. My pain/spasm starts at the lower back and works its way up to the rib cage on the front and intensifies its self. It will make you scream and cry. I suggest you seek medical attention. I see the pain specialist on Monday. If there is anything to report that will help understand this pain/spasms I will let you know.

Yes, this happens to me all the time. Mostly on my left; occasionally on my right. Today was especially bad because I lifted a couple of potted plants and used my ride on mower yesterday. I cannot do anything as I will pay for it the following day. At first I was frightened, however, after over six years you no longer feel scared. If fibromyalgia affects the muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia, then we can expect all kinds of crazy painful happenings all around our bodies. Head to toe, changing all the time.

I feel that something is wrong but I don't know what it is. It is mostly on the left side but has recently appeared on the right side as well. It is scary because I don't know if this has something to do with fibromyalgia, scitica nerve, spinal stenosis, or neiuropathy. I have all these titles and very little answers.

This happens, on my right side! It's been like this, for some time. MRI, ultrasound...shows nothing, except fat on my liver. I know their's...something that they're missing! Because this pain, isn't normal.
