I went with fibro for over 20 years before being diagnosed 6 years ago. The pain was incredible at times, especially in the neck and shoulders. I now take gabapentin and it takes the edge off, anyways.
I've also started smoking a joint (pot) before I go to bed and that takes more of the edge off so that my sleep meds can kick in enough for me to sleep.
I have a wonderful friend who lives nearby who gives it to me free of charge because she knows my pain and financial situation.
I thank God for people like her!!
