A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I feel I have had fibro for years and was recently diagnosed in late 2015. My question is why is there such a push or fibromyalgia medicine? Before having the diagnosis of IBS, IC, etc, I never even heard of fibromyalgia.

One in fifty now have Fibro. It's actually been around for about seventy years. Everyday is different. I've had it for ten years and I'm experiencing new pains. I've been to the ER or the doctor several times thinking I had something else than Fibro. After tests it was concluded that it was my Fibro. This is a crazy disease and the doctors know NOTHING about it. Doctors don't even study it. I've had so many bad experiences with bad doctors that look at me and shake their heads.

On the other side of the coin to inform people about the condition itself are those that wish to exploit it as well ... Those promising miracle creams and cures ( at expensive prices)

Do be fooled by the hype of these 'ads' just cos it says for example it's FDA approved, it probably means that there is something at 1% volume of the total product, included in its content ( it's a marketing play exploiting a legal loophole)
Don't get me wrong there are some 'helpful' products out there but they are by no means cures.

So be careful before you spend your money and if your not sure, put a post on here ' has anyone tried....'
Someone or many will reply with yea or brag or even offer alternatives for you to think about if there is expense to consider

Hope this helps
God bless and gentle hugs xx
