Parasthesia Creepy Crawlies
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone else suffering from that sensation of your skin crawling? I'll get random pin pricks in parts of my body and itchiness. I'm pregnant so I'm not using any medication or acupuncture right now to treat my fibromyalgia and its been rough. The parasthesia has been interrupting my sleep too. Is there anything that can help?

See if you have something in your area called "community acupuncture ." It is a consortium of therapists who are dedicated to affordable treatment. In Orlando Florida I pay $15 per treatment. Look for community acupuncture online.

I hope it works for you! :) Can't make it any worse, and it's not harmful for the baby

@A MyFibroTeam Member - she said she could't treat me during my first trimester, and though I'm just starting my 2nd trimester, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford treatment anymore since I haven't been able to find work.

@A MyFibroTeam Member - it is driving me crazy! Random pricklies in my whole body, mainly my limbs but sometimes my torso and head too. I will try the epsom salts, thanks for the tip :)

Ugh yes. It is enough to make you go nuts. I feel for you. Mine didn't go away until I was put on baclofen. Ask your doctor what you can do. There may be a natural way to get rid of it. Being pregnant, I can only imagine how much worse it is. I had signs of fibro way before I was diagnosed. Maybe a warm bath with Epsom salt? Maybe some compression nylons?

Have you consulted the acupuncture therapist about your condition?
