I have taken magnesium citrate both as a liquid and as a pill. I can't tell if it helped or not.

EPSOM SALTS, MY FRIEND. Magnesium, potassium and calcium must be in balance. Is the burning mostly at night. I douse my feet and legs in cold water and sleep with a small fan pointed right at them. Try keeping a spray bottle next to the bed for relief in the middle of the night.

Joy I can tell you that magnesuim is not the answer for ever fibro user. Like RuggedMan said you would have to bathe in it. And you will feel like you can't even sit down for the stickiness. Taking it by mouth without or sometimes even with a Drs approval is dangerous. Have your levels checked. Make sure you have a Dr that knows what fibro is and is willing to go the mills for you. Right now I have 5 different Drs from one of the best hospital in the US taking care of me. They watch me very closely and now have called in a 6th Dr. But I have also had it for 32 years. Be careful taking advice about vitamins. It is not always a good idea with fibro folks.
