I have been told that excess cold or hot weather causes flares. FM likes nice temperatures between 40 to 80 degrees it seems like anything below or above is hard to deal with. We just need to find what works for our bodies. You may have gotten dehydrated - some of the medications cause dry mouth and dehydration. It is important to get plenty of potassium and calcium - just one of many things that FM and medications deplete. Great question and great answers team.....

My Rheumatalogist said that "yes" being in the sun for very long will cause a Fibro flare up; it did on me, about 3 years ago ---- and I didn't even get sunburned. But oh , the next day I paid for my sit in the sun!

Yes ! I misunderstood my doctor & unfortunately sat in the sun one afternoon, not too long, didn't get sunburned, but oh my goodness : the whole next day was horrible ! Asked my doctor about it & he said the sun caused me to have the flare up ~.

Everyone has their own certain triggers that cause a flare but all of us flare if we over work our bodies, the vitamin d from the sun is great to have ( better than supplements) if you like the sun, and yes things that may not have bothered you before Fibro can very well cause a flare and/or discomfort. ( I no longer can go out if too hot or too cold) so either the strain of the yard sale or the exposure from the sun. I must express that any time you are doing something that you've done a million times and you feel sick or uncomfortable please take notice and limit yourself so you find your own triggers for flares because doctors won't know, hope you're feeling better

My body loves the heat, it warms my joints. I have to make sure my head and eyes are covered because of migraines but otherwise love the sun. You may have been doing too much at the sale as well.
