Lyrica was bad for me ,extreme weight gain , swelling and it messed with my head , yet did nothing for the pain . I am on Gabapentin and it seems to work for me , good luck to you , -hugs -

That's Completely uncalled for! I live in Las Vegas nevada and it's a nightmare to get pain medications thanks to all the idiots that sold theirs or over dosed on them! However if I were you I would go to the hospital and tell them you can't wait that long and hopefully they will give you something while you wait. I will pray for you Good luck & God Bless

I've just been prescribed cymbalta. I'm on my 6th day of 30mg, probably going up to 60mg within 10 days. Amitrptyline worked for me before but its now unavailable in Greece. The cymbalta has definitely reduced my pain but has left me feeling a bit zombie like! At the moment that's a fair pay off for me. It's also reduced my appetite. I read that when I get to therapeutic levels the side effects may decrease.

I tried Cymbalta and I had to stop it...way to many serious side affects.....really thought that I was dying. Just use Aleve and Gabapentin. I have learned to not fight the pain aned rest when I have too.

Taking mobic 7.5 mg for last year. It does take the edge off of joint pain. Also have Voltarin for more severe flairs that helps.
