Has anyone that has fibro only progressed. I know doctor's say you don't progress but I'm wondering different... Like has anyone gone from being able to walk to needing a walker or wheelchair, things like that? I think the disease progresses myself because I think I've had this for some years and now in the past year it's gotten to where I can't work and I'm in pain every day.
Absolutely! I thin its crazy that doctors don't think it progresses when the pain only gets worst and our bodies have gotten a higher tolerance to the medications over time
Over the years I have had it worsen and than get a little better, but as I have aged I seem to feel weaker and I am more limited as to what I am able to do, it can be very disheartening, but I am glad to have those people in my life who encourage me and help meπ
I'd say yes , I've gone from a few flare ups with months in between to not coming out of this one for over a year . It's got to the point I can hardly move most days but I make myself keep going as I know if I just sit the pain is still there but I had no choice as to give up work in Feb ( this choice was not taken lightly ) π
This is such a valid question I would have to say YES!!! At breakfast yesterday I overheard some elderly ladies talking about just plain arthritis It made me think.., if I hurt this bad with a flare up what's it gonna be like when I'm 70. Probably wheelchair bound Bless you all
Thank you everyone. I'm so sorry you all are going through this. I never realized how bad this disease is but now I know. All we can do is spread awareness and advocate that this is real! So many people doubt what we say and they are wrong!
