I think this is a really common trait of fibro and sort of makes sense if you think your brain is constantly trying to process pain signals and other sensory overload that something has to give. I find I function better in a low stimulus environment i.e. natural light, low noise, minimal technology and non toxic people, no screaming kids. Add any of the above into the mix and I start to present like an Alzheimers patient.

I too have this, its termed Fibro fog or foggy brain, yes it does come with Fibro, I too use a calender and a diary to keep me up to date with happenings and events I need to be aware of, I often have to switch on my PC to see what day it is!!

It can be from Fibro fog or medication. I'm really forgetful a lot. I depend on my smart phone to remind me of things. Ha ha

yes honey, I,m sorry to say it can be fibro fog, you feel like you have early dementia, its all down to tiredness and exhaustion, your brain goes slow as well as your body.. It does come in fits and starts but if it persists then get your doc to test you for early dementia Don,t chalk everything up to fibro you can be so wrong\..
