Ringing In The Ears?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Quite often I get ringing in the ears. Sometimes it feels like a bug has entered the ear and is buzzing. I know it is not, but is this part of fibro.

I use a free App you can download onto your phone.. Sleep and Noise Sounds. I started using the Brown Noise first, it has the lowest frequency and listened to it for a few hours daily for 2/3 weeks until my hearing got used to naturally occuring sounds in normal living. Usually in the evening when reading a book or whie doing housework during day. The moved onto Pink Noise of a higher frequency , same routine than finally White Noise... hasnt cured it completely but has made it more tolerable. Ive also recommended it to my Dad who has had Tinnitus for years and is still going through my suggested process but has noticed an improvement also. It based on some research in Germany I read up on. I also have found that the Brown Noise when listened to on a flight when taking off and landing has helped with the blocked ears/ deafness afterwards. Hope this helps xx

I too have tinnitus. Based on when it started, I am pretty sure it is another fibro symptom. It gets worse right before a big flare.
