Yoga/gym
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

My cousin has started a gym and has informed me of all the classes they do, there are plenty of different yoga classes I have read somewhere that yoga can help with Fibromyalgia, I was just wondering if anyone does yoga and also if anyone does go to the gym to use the usual gym equipment?

Yoga helps me! I use equipment as well too though you just need to find your own limits

First thing in the morning: I do an Epson salt soak bath then brief meditation and then stand-up yoga. I spend 15 minutes in soak bath, 10 minutes meditation, 10 minutes yoga. Later in the afternoon I do a 15 minute walk. Some of the Yoga is too difficult for me to do. The stretching and breathing from the stand up poses is doable.

I walk on the treadmill, exercise bike and use the elliptical. Just not as fast and as long as before fibro. I am slowly excepting that.

I use some gym equipment during my physio for fibro. I use a weight machine, a trendmill, a ball, and a exercise bike.
