A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I thought this might be water retention, but my doctor said " This is a Fibro symptom." Just wondered what you all think? Thank you for your time reading this.x

My legs, ankles &feet swell. It feels really odd but the bottom of my feet swell so that my toes don't seem to touch the floor. My doctor has given me Lasix to take but I also have to take potassium any time I take the Lasix. My doctor has never said it is from the fibromyalgia but he has never said why I swell.

i would say its a fibro thing too. my feet and legs swell too. when my feet get to the point i can get my reboks on i take a water pill. i dont like taking them everyday. i take them til the swelling goes down then stop, so that means about 4-5 days straight then maybe not again for a month or more sometime.

I swell up if I'm up too long or eat something high in salt.
