I have new symtoms emerging and I'm wondering if I have something more than fibromyalgia. My feet are really swollen and sore a lot of the time. I don't think it's water retention because I do go the the toilet often. A drink usually goes straight through me. Does anyone else have this complaint and if so, how do you handle it?
@A MyFibroTeam Member Hi yes I do get swollen feet and ankles. It isn't water retention cause my feet swell when I sit. I weird thing that happens is once in awhile my foot, one foot, swells up so bad that I can't walk and I am bed ridden until the swelling goes down. I went to the doctors and he didn't have any idea what it could be so he put me on bed rest. I had x-rays and nothing showed on it Be safe and soft hugs
Diabetes? Depending upon your age, peripheral vascular problems? Also, possibly peripheral neuropathy radiating from back problems?
Gouty arthritis?
I have swollen feet every time I walk and my ankles. It looks like I am walking on balloons! Every so often my one foot will swell up with a lot of pain and I am bedridden until it goes away it is too painful to walk on.
Hi Cat, I am also a Lupus sufferer, and was told its the Lupus. . . .some days its very bad. . . . . and some days are good/bad days, you know I keep on telling myself to cross the bridge and get on. Take care, sending soft hugs. . . will look into the shoes 😃
Hello Cat, I'm in Thailand st the moment, my feet are killing me, very swollen and painfulpainful. Must be the heat and the walking, like like little balloons. So if I take l lassic 40mg water tab, I go into terible leg cramps. Its a catch 22 situation . hope you feel better soon.💗😃
