Lactose And Gluten Intolerance
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone. Since being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I've slowly had to cut dairy in my diet. If I have any thing with the smallest bit if dairy in, in stuck on the loo for hours. The past few months I've also had to cut out gluten products as well as I bloat massively and get cramp pains in my stomach.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you

I've discovered that is I have anything with sulfate. Sulphates in it my bones and muscles hurt. Also if I eat red meat all my joints hurt but I don't have gout. There r times I crave hamburge so I'll eat it and within an hour all my joints begin aching and become stiff.
And with the sulfates it's like a bad fibro flare. Even shampoo makes my scalp itch

With time. I have developed all kinds of sensitivities. When I don't eat dairy or simple carbohydrates, the bloating stops. For years I've kept a size larger than normal in my favorite jeans for those mornings I would awaken to a belly that looked like I was 6 months pregnant, too! I've replaced my haircare , facial care, deoderant, toothpaste and makeup, with products that are mostly organic, without any of the ingredients that irritate my skin.
