@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm sorry to hear you are in this much pain. I have horrible neck/back pain especially in the morning and it's so hard to get up sometimes it takes me 2 hours to even sit up. Not to mention it hurts. I don't have carpal tunnel but I do have a lot of problems with my hands as my fingers will start to become very stiff if I'm writing for too long (about a good paragraph) or typing/texting. I speak into my phone a lot so I don't have to use my fingers. My hands and wrist start to burn and ache and it spreads up to my forearm.
Heat helps me a lot. I have started sleeping wrapped up in a heated blanket and it has worked a miracle, I don't wake up nearly as stiff. If I were you I'd try that. I hope this helps and you find some relief! Sending gentle hugs

JanWelbourn, i use a Cpap Machine, i take nuvigil for my narcolepsy, i also use symbicort, proAir and flonase to name a few.
I have stomach problems due to long use of pain meds, cervical problems, lumbosacral radiculitis, angioedema, ibs. I also have 3 types of pain: burning pain, aching pain and throbbing pain, fibromyalgia, RLS, knots on both sides of neck..the more i stress the bigger they get, the more pain i have, along with other gealth issues. I have seen or still seeing, pain doctor, counseling, Psychiatrist, rheumatologist, neurologist, sleep doctor, lung doctor, injections, phyzical therapy, i could go on but i think you get tge picture..i try to be strong hoping something will work.

Do you sleep with a C-Pap for your sleep apnea? That could help if you need it like I did. I do think that getting the proper air flow at night has helped my symptoms. Not gone, but helped.
