One thing I forgot to mention earlier is Carpal Tunnel was the very start of my Fubromyalgia and reading through the answer nobody has mentioned it but I had a Chripractor that did adjustments in my wrists. I do still have weakness in my hands but as others have said it comes and goes. But the unbearable pain only came back during mybtwonoregnanciea and its worth a try! Also dipping in Parrafin wax helps a lot!

I hate to keep saying another part of fibro. But it is. I hurt so bad in my arms and shoulders I feel like fire balls are in my hands.

@A MyFibroTeam Member: I am so sorry and totally feel your pain! I have noticed my hands, fingertips even, and my forearms are so massively aching. I have noticed more pain in my legs also....my thighs down to my feet. And being on my feet, working in the general public with all this, to the point it hurts to stand or even walk, it takes its toll. I believe the cooler temps and some other potential happenings around us are effecting us across the board.
Now, @A MyFibroTeam Member: I am majoring in Psychology also. As stated by Bob Garrett (2015), "There is considerable loss of gray matter, equivalent to 10-20 yrs of additional aging in chronic back pain patients and 9.5 yrs of additional aging per year of suffering with fibromyalghia" (pg. 351). I believe it has NOT been proven to be an "emotional and psychological" disorder, but that the disorder could most very well likely be the cause of fluctuations in the other areas of the brain (biologically speaking) and are you aware that every psychological disorder shows a relevance of brain alteration in the matter of those that suffer from whichever disease/s they may? I am sorry, but I CAN SAY that from my personal experience, YES, THIS DOES affect someone psychologically AND emotionally. I am 39. My significant other is 51. Whenever I sit in the overstuffed chair and "I" have to be helped up by my partner or out of bed or off the couch or whatever the situation may be.... in our mannerisms, don't we typically, as a race/species for the most part, wind up the younger taking care of the elders?!!?!?!? Don't you think this plays a vital and dangerous game with someone's mind (psychological games)?!?!!? And yes, this all IS carefully and intricately intertwined with our emotions!!! NO "if's", "and's", or "but's"... I'm sorry, but I fail to see where there is a case of someone "thinking" the case is that it is all "psychological and emotional" when there has been no hardened proof of it, but there IS evidence seen of how fibro sufferers have drastically aging brain matter. Kindest Regards
