I was wondering if i can have some suggestions on what you all take besides tramadol and lyrica i have been taking them for so long they are no longer helping...this way i can maybe run some of the medicines by my arthritus doctor!
I take Tramadol and Cymbalta (although my insurance doesn't want to pay for it) I also add Tylenol Arthritis 650 MG Extended Release They also have a PM which contains Benadryll.
I take 3-4 capsules 3-4 times a day.Not recommended or approved by my doctors however when prescription medications aren't working I look to whatever may help.
I cannot take Lyrica, which caused me several falls as it takes all my balance away. It caused me to break both ankles ( so now i have a metal plate and 9 screws in ea ankle.. Doctor has had me on Oxycodone for a few yrs now and it normally works very well. Im meant to take 1 in morn, 1 at nite tho i rarely take the night time one unless i really need it. I also take 'Healthy Care Wild Krill Oil ' and find it very useful regarding pain. I take 3 x 500mg! I also take 40mg Targin / Oxycodone Controlled Release daily. Tho if i'm not in much pain i don't take it. I get the odd good days but i do find i need that morning Targin. I also take Caltrate Plus (Calcium) , " Schuessler Tissue Salts " or called MagPhos or Magnesium Phosphate which helps heal muscles and replaces lost tissue salts. I also take Vit B12 shots once every 3 mths & take a Multi Vitamin. I also suffer ' Restless Legs " which causes so much lost sleep and is one of the most annoying conditions i suffer from. What are the patches you are talking about KonnersNonnie???
I also take Cymbalta and Tinizidine . tried the patches but learned I was allergic to the adhesives..doing good on this mix. Also take melatonin daily at night. Read online that 10mg. Daily would help with fibro..so yes I'm trying it. Helps with my sleep issues which helps with not being so tired all the time.
I agree with the Cymbalta. I take the generic which is much cheaper. It's an anti depressant and also for fibromyalgia and nerve pain. It was really a benefit for me.
