Muscle Cramps And Migraines
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been having terrible migraines, which my neurologist said is from tension so he prescribed Zanaflex. I'm also having horrible muscle cramps. Not like spasms but pain like someone rubbing a very sore or bruised muscle. Are these both symptoms anyone else has with their fibro? Any tips on how to deal with both of these? I use Tylenol, Alece, vitamin D, fish oil, Lyrica, Zanaflex and Plaquenil for my Rheumatoid Disease. I also use.heat and cold when needed. Any other suggestions? Because… read more

Try Magnesium with calcium and Vitamin D. Also drink some Tonic water containing Quinine before you go to bed . These two things have helped me quite a bit ☺

I found that the fibro causes alot of trapped nerves. Try and get someone to give you a massage to work out any knots in you're neck and back. I find this causes most of my headaches. I've also had the bruised muscle feeling and I was told it was a cluster of nerve endings. Again heat and masage is useful and a hot bath with Epsom salts which have magnesium in also help. I also use muscle gels that had camphr in them which cause a heat reaction.
