Gabapentin And Stomach Issues

I started taking Gabapentin in September and while at first it seemed to work a bit for energy (no pain reduction) I started noticing that I had heartburn daily and had to take Zantac. I also felt sick to my stomach for about an hour or two after taking it. There were a few other side effects that I was concerned about so I stopped taking it over the past few weeks. It has been known to have this effect and can be counteracted with a reflux drug taken at night but ask for pregabalin as alternative as most drs find that if you have effects from one you're better on the other x good luck other wise ask for lansoprozole as a reflux tablet to counteract what your experiencing x it's what I'm on as I doing get on with pregabalin but I do better with gabapentine except for the reflux x

No, but I haven't taken it for a while. My mom takes it now, and she doesn't seem to have any problems with it.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I will keep you posted! It was recommended by a Physiatrist (not psychiatrist). My GP had no problem having me try it.
