I found out I was severely deficient in vitamin D. Helped immediately when I started taking suppliments.

For many years I have suffered with extreme pain in both legs. It sounds different than what you describe except that it is also excruciating. I have tried too many things to list. The best way I can describe it is like thousands of tiny electrical shocks all over & just under my skin. I too end up screaming involuntarily. The only thing that keeps the pain away is if I'm on Morphine Sulfate aka MS Contin ER, 15 mg
every 12 hours (30 count per month) prescribed by a pain management Dr. This kind of morphine is formulated so there is no euphoria or "high" feeling. This helps one functionbfar better and decreases risk of dependency. May cause drowsiness. But it sure feels great when the pain goes away! Helps me to some degree with other fibro pain but I need Norco 10-325 2x day +/-. And still can be very painful. But no unbearable leg pain. I have tried numerous times to go off the MS Contin but the leg pain comes back each time with a vengeance. A spinal specialist also prescribed it for me as most Dr.s believe it is referred pain from damaged discs in my lower back. I'm not completely convinced as I get many different forms of pain all over due to (I think the fibro.) I've gone long, but I hope you find something that helps. I feel I understand just how bad it gets. I am mostly exhausted from pain. But it would be even worse without the rxs. I wish you all the best. I live in Northern Nevada, so if you want a Dr. referral. Be Happy to tell you who is helping me. Take very good care of yourself. It's hard, but there is hope and help.

I agree, I use Restful Legs, its a product carried by Walmart, I thank the good Lord the day my sister told me it would help, I have unrest in my legs during the day as well, I have been taking them for over a month. 2 in the morning, 2 after work and 3 before bed, it helps so much with the restless moving.

I tried Sleep Minerals for my leg cramps. Just a calcium, magnesium and zinc supplement. Calmed my legs down.

Try gentle message therapy or acupuncture. Both has worked for me.
